The second quarter at ADvendio has been incredibly busy. We attended and sponsored multiple events, were shortlisted for an award, conducted a global team meeting, hosted a webinar, released new product updates, and expanded our team.

Growth Potential: What Industry Experts Are Saying About Retail Media
In May, ADvendio’s head of sales, Samantha Giaver, and retail journalist Ben Sillitoe hosted a retail media webinar, delving into the latest trends in retail media, examining effective strategies from leading retailers, and showcasing what technology is needed to capitalize on this fast-moving space. Salesforce World Tour
In Q2, both our US and UK teams attended the Salesforce World Tour in both New York and London. Sam, Matt, and Rachel represented ADvendio in New York, while Angus and Louis attended the event in London, where they had the opportunity to connect with various companies and meet our valued partners.
Retail Technology Show
In April, ADvendio was delighted to sponsor the Retail Technology Show, a gathering of Europe’s most forward-thinking retailers and leading tech innovators, held at Olympia London. By sponsoring this event, our UK team Angus, Hristina, Shekhar, and Louis had the ideal opportunity to engage with global leading retailers.
Digital Day Camp
In June, our Sales Director, Matt Rohrs, attended Digital Day Camp in Toronto. This premier event focused on emerging trends in ad tech, retail media, programmatic, and more. It brought together participants from various sectors of the Canadian media landscape, including publishers, advertisers, brands, platforms, industry leaders, and the global ad-tech community.
Our US Sales Team, consisting of Samantha Giaver, Matt Rohrs, and Rachel Donoghue, attended the Admonsters Ops Conference in New York in June where ADvendio were proud sponsors. This event featured notable keynote speakers and provided valuable insights into the industry’s present and future landscape.
P2PI Retail Media Summit
Our last event of the quarter was the Path to Purchase Institute Retail Media Summit in Chicago, which was attended by Matt Rohrs. This summit brought together top retail media experts for content sessions, idea exchange, and networking opportunities, enabling attendees to fully leverage the potential of retail media.
Global Town Hall Meeting
At the halfway point of 2023, ADvendio conducted a global town hall meeting, bringing together colleagues from our offices in the US, Chile, Germany, Ireland, and the UK. The meeting focused on departmental updates, goal alignment, and long-term strategies for ADvendio’s strategic roadmap.
Retail Systems Award
In this quarter, ADvendio was shortlisted for an award at this year’s Retail Systems Awards. Celebrating its 18th year, these awards are highly esteemed in the retail industry, honoring excellence and innovation. ADvendio has been recognized in the “Most Disruptive Retail Technology” category, acknowledging our groundbreaking solutions that fill market gaps and have the potential to revolutionize the retail sector. The awards will be presented at a Gala Dinner on the 29th of June in the Waldorf Hilton, London. See the announcement here.
Media Buying Beta Release
We’re excited to announce the release of our new Media Buying Beta version. With the new features, our customers can now streamline their media buying process and improve their overall efficiency.
Our Media Buying Beta provides a basic solution for managing media buying campaigns which include the possibility to easily create buying orders and buying items, push them to external systems, track delivery data, and performance metrics, monitor budget spend, and invoice customers based on actual spend. With these features, you can now manage your media buying campaigns with ease and accuracy. Globally Growing Team
In this quarter, we are pleased to announce two new additions to our Chilean office and a new team member to the Irish office. Xenia Kern has joined as the Global Head of Human Resources and Country Manager of Chile and in Ireland, Vitor Santos has joined the Support Team as Support Engineer.
Germain Pelt has joined our sales team as a junior sales associate for a three-month internship. As part of his internship, Germain will support the global sales team from our Chile office, focusing on researching potential customers and identifying new business opportunities. Germain attends ESCP Business School, where he will be studying and working in London, Madrid, and Berlin. We are excited to have Germain on board and look forward to his contributions during his internship.
