The fourth quarter at ADvendio has been immensely busy, marked by our participation in industry and team events, hosting a panel discussion, delivering product updates, releasing two new eBooks, and expanding our team.

Here’s a summary of our achievements in Q4 2023:

Industry Events

We had the pleasure of attending multiple events in the advertising industry this quarter.

eTail Nordic

On October 10–11th, Jens Hansen, ADvendio Account Manager for Northern Europe, participated in the eTail Nordic event in Copenhagen. This provided an excellent opportunity to learn from and connect with thought leaders in the retail industry, especially within the Scandinavian region. The event is recognized as Scandinavia’s foremost e-commerce and multi-channel retail conference.

Advertising Week NYC

From October 16th to 19th, Samantha Giaver, Matthew Rohrs, and Rachel Donoghue from ADvendio’s US Sales team represented ADvendio at Advertising Week New York. The event featured seminars and panel discussions on key topics such as cookie deprecation, CTV, AI, retail media, and more.

IAB Sweden Programmatic

Jens Hansen, ADvendio Account Manager, also attended the IAB Sweden Programmatic Event on October 25, 2023. Jens expressed enthusiasm for delving into key industry topics such as Identity, CTV, and Retail Media, all of which were featured on the agenda. Additionally, he successfully established valuable connections with fellow industry professionals.


Ratecard Stars

ADvendio is proud to share that our Account Manager, Maria Gracia, received a nomination at the Ratecard Stars #3 Awards in Paris. The awards ceremony, which took place on November 16 at the iconic Parc des Princes, celebrated excellence in the AdTech and MarTech industries. Maria Gracia was honored in the “Star Tech Sell Side” category, and we take great pride in her well-deserved recognition.

VIP Awards

We are delighted to announce that ADvendio has been named as a finalist in the coveted “Best Execution of Retail Media” category at the Vendors In Partnership Awards. Being among other outstanding finalists leading the way in retail industry innovation is truly an honor. A sincere thank you to everyone who supported us with their votes. We look forward to connecting with all the other finalists at the awards ceremony on Friday, January 12th, at Gotham Hall in NYC.


Customer Summit for the Classifieds Industry

ADvendio’s customer success team Myriam Hirt, Jorge Barrionuevo, and Kenneth Puche organized an online customer summit for the Classifieds Industry on October 11th, aiming to create a platform for industry professionals to exchange insights. The event featured presentations by key team members, including Julian Ahrends and Liga Bandere, who discussed topics such as the future of finance features, ADvendio’s media buying, and its benefits for classified advertisers. The summit provided a valuable opportunity for meaningful discussions and engagement among participants.


ADvendio’s Media Insights Panel: CTV, Retail Media, & Cookie Deprecation

On October 18th, we hosted an insightful webinar featuring a panel of industry experts, including Michelle Thibeault, Director of Digital Ad Operations at CBC/Radio-Canada; Gavin Dunaway, Product Marketing Lead at The Media Trust (formerly associated with Ad Monsters); Jens Hansen, Account Manager (Northern Europe) at ADvendio; and Matthew Rohrs, Sales Director (US) at ADvendio. This event served as a platform for these thought leaders to share their invaluable insights into the ever-evolving advertising landscape.

Product Update

New Media Integrations

We are excited to introduce our new integrations with TikTok, Google Ads, and Amazon DSP to enhance our Media Buying module. These integrations streamline the media buying process by automating campaign data extraction and creating campaign shells in the respective platforms. This update ensures efficient campaign management, automatic data ingestion for accuracy, and a unified data hub for easy handling of multiple campaigns, significantly reducing manual efforts and simplifying operations for users.

New Hires

We are pleased to share that our international team is growing to meet the increasing demand from the market.

Globally Growing Team

We are pleased to announce three new additions to our team this quarter. Wincy Gehrmann has joined our German office and the TAM Team as a Senior Technical Account Manager. Claudio García has joined our Chilean office and Product team as a Senior UX Specialist. Finally, Nadine Friday has joined our UK, and Marketing team as Product Marketing Manager.

We extend a warm welcome to Wincy, Claudio, and Nadine as they take on important roles in developing and strengthening our workforce.

Christmas Parties

As we reflect on the achievements and camaraderie of the past quarter, ADvendio is delighted to share highlights from our recent office Christmas celebrations. Embracing the festive spirit, we hosted two memorable gatherings — one in Germany and another in Chile.
